Wendy Winks is a producer, and the Founder and Executive Director of the non-profit Rock School Scholarship Fund. She champions artists and projects that make a positive difference in the world – or at least make you laugh! Her clients have written several movies for Hallmark and Disney, most notably “Camp Rock,” for the Disney Channel.
Wendy has also produced two independent films, and a movie for Hallmark. One, a family comedy entitled “Dog Gone” was distributed on DVD by Universal. She also produced a holiday movie for Hallmark called “Santa Jr.”
Prior to starting her production company in 2001, she was SVP Network Development and Marketing at Television.com, a destination for everything about TV, which was a forerunner for sites like HULU.com. Before being courted by Television.com, she held various marketing executive positions at Universal Studios, including Sr. Director of Corporate Partnerships, where she managed the studio’s relationship with Kodak and Discover Financial Services, and ran the Universal Studio credit card business, and Director of Marketing in the Home Entertainment division, where she made release decisions for their catalog product.
